Welcome to Whiskey Ridge! I am located about 75 miles North of Grand Rapids and about 20 miles East-Southeast of Ludington, right in the very center of the Manistee National Forest. The cabin sits on 25 acres at the edge of a small 20-25 acre lake. My property connects to over 125,000 acres of Manistee National Forest. The area is referred to as Ruby Creek, although you won't find it on the map. The area is named as such, because this is where Ruby Creek flows into the Big South Branch of the Pere Marquette River, considered to be one of the ten best trout streams in the world. Ruby Creek consists of several small businesses (2 bar/restaurants, a General store and the Ruby Creek Conservation and Recreation Club. The area is alive with activity throughout the year with such things as, canoing, tubing, fishing, hunting, cross country skiing, hiking, camping, dirt biking and snowmobiling.
